Job Description – Content Writer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Content Writer to join our Digital Marketing Agency. The ideal candidate should have strong writing and communication skills, a good understanding of digital content, and the ability to develop original ideas and engaging content for different brands and platforms.

The candidate should be comfortable researching topics, understanding different brand voices, and creating content that is informative, engaging, and aligned with marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Create original, engaging, and high-quality content for multiple brands and industries.
Develop content ideas for social media, websites, blogs, campaigns, advertisements, and digital platforms.
Write captions, social media copies, blogs, website content, scripts, and marketing communication.
Understand the brand tone, target audience, and marketing objectives before creating content.
Conduct research to create accurate, relevant, and meaningful content.
Collaborate with Graphic Designers, Video Editors, Social Media Managers, and Performance Marketing teams to develop creative campaigns.
Proofread and edit content to ensure excellent grammar, clarity, and consistency.
Stay updated with digital marketing, social media trends, and content trends.
Develop fresh concepts and creative content ideas rather than relying heavily on AI-generated content.
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT as a supporting tool, while ensuring the final content is original, human-written, and creatively refined.
Adapt writing style according to different brands, audiences, and platforms.

Required Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong command of English and grammar.
Good understanding of content writing and digital marketing.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate new and original content ideas.
Strong research and storytelling skills.
Ability to write in different tones and formats.
Good understanding of social media content and digital trends.
Strong proofreading and editing skills.
Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced digital marketing agency environment.
Minimal dependency on ChatGPT/AI tools; candidate should demonstrate strong independent writing and ideation skills.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC/MJMC) or a related field.
Candidates with a strong background in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or English may also be considered.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in content writing, digital marketing, advertising, media, or a creative agency.
Experience working with multiple brands will be an added advantage.

We are looking for someone who is creative, curious, confident, and genuinely passionate about writing. The ideal candidate should be able to bring their own perspective and ideas to the table and should not simply depend on AI-generated content.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
