Full job description

Role Overview

T4G Impact Tech Foundation is engaging an Accounts Executive on a contractual basis to support the day-to-day finance and accounting operations at its Cochin office. This is a contractual engagement and not a regular employment position. Working closely with the Head of Finance, the role is responsible for accurate book-keeping in Tally, transaction processing, reconciliations, and maintaining proper records of inventory and assets.

Key Responsibilities

Record day-to-day accounting entries accurately in Tally and Zoho Books.
Prepare sales invoices and book purchase bills, and process related payments across both platforms.
Prepare payment vouchers and supporting documentation for multiple partner organisations.
Manage and maintain petty cash, ensuring proper records and periodic reconciliation.
Extract and process Razorpay reports and reconcile against the books of account.
Perform regular bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain inventory records and carry out inventory management activities.
Track and maintain a register of fixed assets.
Support GST-related compliance and documentation as required.
Assist the Head of Finance with month-end closing and other ad-hoc finance tasks.

Technical Skills

Hands-on working knowledge of Zoho Books, with a demonstrated and proven track record of using it in a professional accounting role. (Mandatory)
Hands-on working knowledge of Tally.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Razorpay reports extraction and reconciliation.
Inventory management and assets tracking.
Accounting entries, sales invoice preparation, purchase bill booking, and payment processing.
Preparation of vouchers and account reconciliations.
Working knowledge of GST will be an added advantage.

Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
Effective communication and teamwork.
Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Engagement Terms

This is a contractual engagement and does not constitute regular employment with T4G Impact Tech Foundation.
Remuneration will be paid against invoices, subject to applicable tax deduction at source (TDS).
The engagement is governed by the terms of a separate service agreement to be executed between the parties.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
