We’re Hiring | Mechanical Draftsman – MEP
Noster Associates Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems to join our MEP and turnkey project team.
Key Responsibilities
❄ HVAC Systems
* Prepare HVAC schematic diagrams
* Develop ducting layouts and detailed drawings
* Prepare HVAC piping layouts
* Perform / assist with equipment and machine sizing
* Prepare heat load calculations
* Prepare diffuser and grille schedules
* Prepare HVAC quantity take-offs and estimates
* Coordinate HVAC drawings with architectural and other MEP services
Plumbing Systems
* Prepare plumbing schematic diagrams
* Pipe sizing and plumbing system design
* Prepare toilet layouts and plumbing details
* Prepare pantry and wet-area plumbing layouts
* Develop water supply and drainage layouts
* Prepare plumbing quantities and estimates
Fire Protection Systems
* Prepare Fire Protection System (FPS) drawings
* Prepare fire-fighting schematics
* Develop sprinkler layouts and detailed drawings
* Coordinate fire protection drawings with other MEP services
Requirements
* Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
* Good understanding of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
* Knowledge of ducting, piping, equipment sizing and MEP coordination
* Understanding of relevant construction standards and codes
* Ability to prepare detailed sections, elevations and construction drawings
* Experience in commercial interior fit-out / turnkey projects is an advantage
* Good communication and coordination skills
