Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Dealer & Channel Development

Locations: Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Punjab, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan and Gujarat
Job Type: Full-time | Field Sales
Industry: Building Materials

We are hiring Regional Sales Managers for multiple states across India. The primary responsibility will be to develop the company’s distributor, dealer and channel-partner network within the assigned territory.

Candidates must currently reside in, or have strong market knowledge of, the state for which they are applying.

Key Responsibilities

Map major cities, districts and potential markets within the assigned state.
Identify and appoint distributors, dealers, retailers and sub-dealers.
Meet potential channel partners and present the company’s products and business opportunities.
Evaluate prospective partners based on their reputation, financial capacity, infrastructure and market reach.
Generate opening orders from newly appointed channel partners.
Convert new partners into active and regularly ordering accounts.
Develop sub-dealer networks and secondary sales under appointed distributors.
Install product displays, sample panels and promotional materials at suitable dealer counters.
Build long-term relationships with distributors, dealers, architects, builders and contractors.
Monitor competing brands, products, pricing, schemes and dealer networks.
Coordinate with the head office regarding quotations, samples, displays, orders, stock and dispatches.
Achieve assigned targets for dealer appointments, opening orders, repeat business, sales and collections.
Submit regular market-visit, dealer-development and sales reports.
Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must be from the building-materials industry.
Candidates from tiles, sanitaryware, bathware, marble, granite, plywood, laminates, paints, adhesives, cement, hardware, glass, electrical products, pipes, flooring or related industries may apply.
Previous experience specifically in the tiles industry is not compulsory.
Freshers with relevant building-materials knowledge, internships or family-business exposure may also apply.
Strong knowledge of the local market, language and business culture is required.
Existing relationships with building-material distributors and dealers will be an advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Confidence in approaching dealers, distributors and business owners.
Willingness to work with channel-appointment and sales targets.
Willingness to travel approximately 18–22 days per month.
A two-wheeler or car with a valid driving licence is preferred.
