Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and target-oriented Business Development Intern to support lead generation, prospect research, outreach, client follow-ups, and sales coordination activities.

This internship is ideal for candidates who want practical exposure to B2B sales, business development, client communication, lead generation, CRM management, and the overall process of converting prospects into clients.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential clients through LinkedIn, Google, company websites, business directories, social media, referrals, job portals, and other relevant platforms.

Build targeted prospect lists by identifying relevant companies, decision-makers, contact details, industry information, and business requirements.

Assist with lead generation for the company’s marketing, creative, recruitment, staffing, and related services.

Conduct initial outreach through emails, LinkedIn messages, WhatsApp, and other approved communication channels.

Support cold-calling activities and confidently introduce FyerX services to potential clients when required.

Follow up with prospects to understand their interest, requirements, availability, and next steps.

Schedule introductory calls, meetings, and presentations with interested prospects for the business development or management team.

Assist in preparing outreach messages, introductory emails, pitch decks, proposals, quotations, presentations, and other sales-related documents.

Maintain accurate prospect details, communication history, meeting schedules, follow-up dates, and sales-status updates in CRM tools, Excel, Google Sheets, or other relevant platforms.

Track and report daily outreach activities, leads generated, responses received, meetings scheduled, and follow-up status.

Support coordination between prospects and internal teams after a meeting is scheduled or a requirement is received.

Conduct basic market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, target markets, and potential business opportunities.

Maintain professional and timely communication with all prospects and stakeholders.

Meet assigned outreach, research, lead-generation, and meeting-booking targets.

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in business development, sales, lead generation, client acquisition, marketing, or recruitment services.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Comfortable speaking with professionals over phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other communication platforms.
Basic understanding of B2B sales, lead generation, and client relationship management is preferred.
Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and online research tools.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
Strong research, follow-up, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, confidence, persistence, and a professional approach to communication.
