About the Role
Provis Technologies is hiring a hands-on Full-Stack Developer who can build and deliver production features across frontend applications, backend services, databases, and third-party integrations.
This is a dual-backend role. Candidates must have practical development experience with both:
- NestJS and Node.js
- Python and FastAPI
Candidates who have experience with only one of these backend stacks will not be considered.
You will work on AI assistants, SaaS platforms, B2B portals, internal dashboards, and workflow automation products using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, NestJS, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
This is not a training-only position. You must be able to understand an existing codebase, take ownership of a feature, test it locally, debug issues across services, and deliver reliable changes with limited hand-holding.
Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive screens, dashboards, forms, and workflows using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Design, extend, and debug REST APIs and business logic using NestJS and Node.js.
- Build and maintain Python services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Connect NestJS and Python services within the same product architecture.
- Troubleshoot frontend, backend, database, API, and cross-service issues.
- Work with PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL queries, joins, indexes, transactions, and migrations.
- Integrate third-party APIs such as LLM providers, messaging platforms, email services, payment systems, and affiliate platforms.
- Build AI-powered chatbots, assistants, automation features, and internal workflows.
- Run and debug multi-service applications locally using Docker and docker-compose.
- Write maintainable code, review changes, fix defects, and follow Git-based development workflows.
Mandatory Skills
- 1-3 years of professional experience building real web applications or SaaS products.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Professional backend development experience with NestJS and Node.js.
- Hands-on development experience with Python and FastAPI.
- Ability to work confidently in both NestJS and Python/FastAPI codebases.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL, including joins, indexing, transactions, and migrations.
- Experience building, consuming, documenting, and debugging REST APIs.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, webhooks, authentication, error handling, and retries.
- Comfortable using Git, command-line tools, Docker, and docker-compose.
- Ability to understand an unfamiliar production codebase and deliver correct changes independently.
- Strong debugging, communication, and ownership skills.
Good to Have
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other AI/LLM APIs.
- Experience building SaaS, chatbot, CRM, ERP, automation, or dashboard-based products.
- Familiarity with Redis, queues, background jobs, caching, WebSockets, and scheduled tasks.
- Understanding of authentication, role-based access control, and multi-tenant systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud deployment workflows.
- Experience writing unit or integration tests.

- You are unable to work from our Jaipur office.
- You require continuous supervision to complete development tasks.
