The Adobe Developer Platform (ADP) team builds the tools, APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and runtime infrastructure that enable third-party developers and internal teams to extend and integrate with Adobe's products. This includes Adobe Developer Console, Developer Distribution, App Builder, I/O Events, Developer Docs and Exchange. Our team is the connective tissue between Adobe's products and the broader developer ecosystem, making it easy for developers to build powerful applications and integrations on top of Adobe's platform.
Millions of developers rely on the surfaces we build — from the developer portal at developer.adobe.com to the Developer Console where teams manage API credentials, extensions, and integrations. We move fast, care deeply about developer experience, and hold ourselves to a high bar for UI quality, performance, and reliability across the stack. Our work directly shapes how the developer community perceives and adopts Adobe technology.
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the ADP group. You will contribute across the entire stack, from React-based experiences developers use to the services and APIs that support them. You'll work alongside product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship end-to-end features, owning your work from UI to backend to deployment.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and test features end-to-end across ADP surfaces, including developer.adobe.com, Developer Console, and Adobe Exchange.
Build responsive, accessible frontend experiences in React while also developing the backend services and APIs that support them.
Develop scalable, reliable services and integrations using Node.js and/or other backend technologies, deployed on cloud and serverless infrastructure.
Participate in build reviews and code reviews, driving engineering guidelines across both frontend and backend.
Collaborate closely with product management and design to translate requirements into well-architected, maintainable solutions.
Investigate and resolve production issues across the stack, contributing to operational excellence and monitoring.
Write automated tests and contribute to shared libraries, documentation, and engineering standards.
What You Need To Succeed
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4-6 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience building web applications in React.
Solid backend development experience with Java (or a comparable server-side technology such as Node.js).
Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern deployment practices.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive, accessible web design principles.
Strong problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and comfort working across the full stack in an agile environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with Adobe's React Spectrum design system or similar component library ecosystems.
Familiarity with serverless runtimes, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
Experience with developer tooling, API platforms, CLIs, or developer portal experiences.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
Experience working in a platform or ecosystem team serving external developers.
