Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Discovery, CMDB, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions while ensuring platform best practices, data quality, and seamless integrations. The role requires a technically strong individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
What will your role look like?

Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITOM, ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, HAM, and SAM modules.

Configure and optimize Discovery, Service Mapping (where applicable), and CMDB to ensure accurate infrastructure visibility and data integrity.

Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.

Support the implementation and maintenance of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities.

Ensure CMDB health by implementing CSDM and Data Foundation best practices.

Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.

Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend performance improvements.

Participate in ServiceNow platform upgrades, release management, and instance optimization.

Follow ServiceNow development standards, governance, and coding best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Document technical designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.

We would like you to bring along

5–10 years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow development expertise.

Hands-on implementation experience in ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, HAM, and SAM.

Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, and Data Foundation concepts.

Experience configuring Discovery schedules, MID Servers, patterns, and troubleshooting Discovery issues.
-
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Experience designing and developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.

Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and development best practices.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
