Job Summary
The IT Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and supervising all IT operations related to examination projects, biometric verification systems, CCTV surveillance, networking, data management, and technical support. The role requires ensuring smooth execution of examination-based services across multiple locations while maintaining data security, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Examination IT Operations
- Manage IT infrastructure for examination centers and government projects.
- Ensure smooth functioning of computers, servers, networking devices, and examination software.
- Coordinate technical setup before, during, and after examinations.
2. Biometric & Verification Systems
- Oversee installation and operation of biometric attendance/verification systems.
- Ensure accurate data capture and synchronization.
- Troubleshoot biometric device issues at examination sites.
3. CCTV & Surveillance Management
- Manage CCTV camera installation, monitoring, and recording systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted video recording during examination processes.
- Maintain backup and storage of surveillance data.
4. Network & System Administration
- Configure and maintain LAN/WAN networks.
- Monitor server performance and system security.
- Implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
5. Team Management
- Lead and supervise IT technicians and field engineers.
- Assign duties and monitor project execution.
- Provide technical training and guidance to staff.
6. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with client and government IT requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, incident reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with department officials and vendors when required.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant experience in examination, e-governance, CCTV, networking, or biometric projects preferred.
