Roles blending Anthropic’s Claude and Meta’s advertising or agent platforms fall into two main categories: AI Agent Developers (who build the agents) and AI-Assisted Media Buyers (who use agents to run ads)

1. Claude & Meta AI Agent DeveloperThis technical role focuses on building autonomous, AI-powered systems that integrate with Meta’s platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Messenger) to automate business operations, marketing, and content.

Key Responsibilities:

Build AI Agents: Create and configure agents using Claude APIs, Claude Code, or agentic frameworks to automate daily marketing workflows.
Meta Platform Integrations: Connect Claude agents with Meta Business Suite, ads, and messaging tools using REST APIs and Webhooks.
Workflow Automation: Design agent logic to plan, write, schedule, and publish content across social platforms.

Requirements:

Hands-on coding experience with Python or JavaScript.
Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and tool-calling.
Strong understanding of Meta Ads or Business Messaging API structures.
View specific technical engineering duties on Meta Careers.

2. Meta Ads Expert (Claude-Augmented)This role is for performance marketers and growth specialists. You use Claude's coding, analytics, and prompt skills to bypass manual data analysis and optimize live ad campaigns on Meta.

Key Responsibilities:

Automate Account Audits: Connect live Meta ad data to Claude via MCP to instantly audit CPA spikes, track health, and find wasted spend.
Creative Strategy & Variations: Prompt Claude to scan competitors in the Meta Ad Library and generate new, data-backed UGC (User Generated Content) video scripts or image ad briefs.
Campaign Pacing: Use custom Claude skills to reallocate budgets and manage pacing 24/7 without logging into dashboards.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience managing significant monthly ad spends on Meta.
Deep understanding of performance metrics: CPA, ROAS, and CAC.
Familiarity with training Claude on specific brand knowledge and deploying marketing skills.
