Role Overview
The Enterprise Technology Lead is a senior leadership role within Global Services (MGS), responsible for shaping, governing, and delivering enterprise‑wide technology capabilities that enable global business segments to operate with simplicity, scale, trust, and measurable business value.
This role will lead a portfolio of enterprise‑wide platforms and capabilities, including:

Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Governance

Intelligent Automation (RPA, workflow, agentic automation)

Enterprise AI platforms and use cases
-
Enterprise corporate applications, such as:

Travel & Expense platforms (e.g., Concur)
-
Enterprise Planning tools (e.g., Anaplan)
The Enterprise Technology Lead operates at the intersection of business strategy, data, automation, and enterprise platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with Five Principles and long‑term Digital Core roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Technology Strategy & Leadership
-
Define and execute a multi‑year Enterprise Technology strategy aligned to business objectives and MGS Digital Technologies priorities
-
Translate enterprise and functional needs into scalable capability roadmaps
-
Establish a clear operating model covering intake, prioritization, delivery, governance, and value realization
-
Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Digital Core, Cybersecurity, Data, and Business Product teams
-
Act as a senior escalation point for enterprise technology risks, trade‑offs, and investment decisions
2. Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Governance Leadership
-
Own and evolve the enterprise MDM vision focused on product and customer data excellence
-
Define and enforce:
-
Data ownership and stewardship models
-
Data standards, policies, and governance forums
-
Ensure high data quality, consistency, and compliance across domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.)
-
Enable markets and business segments to leverage master data as a strategic asset
-
Drive adoption of modern data governance and data quality frameworks
-
Ensure strong alignment with Digital Core (SAP S/4HANA) and downstream consumers
3. Intelligent Automation & Process Optimization
-
Lead enterprise‑scale Intelligent Automation programs, including:
-
Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
-
Workflow orchestration
-
AI‑driven and agentic automation
-
Establish standards for:
-
Automation intake and prioritization
-
Reusability and code governance
-
Secure and compliant automation
-
Identify high‑value automation opportunities across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Operations, and corporate functions
-
Track and report measurable value outcomes, including productivity gains, cost savings, risk reduction, and experience improvements
-
Partner with business stakeholders to embed automation into day‑to‑day operations
4. Enterprise AI Enablement
-
Provide leadership and strategic oversight for Enterprise AI platforms and capabilities
-
Drive responsible adoption of Enterprise AI technologies (e.g., Gemini Enterprise, agentic AI)
-
Ensure AI solutions are:
-
Secure and complaint
-
Ethically governed
-
Integrated with enterprise data and processes
-
Collaborate with AI CoEs, Architecture, Security, and Legal to enforce standards and guardrails
-
Enable business teams to innovate safely at scale using AI capabilities
5. Enterprise Corporate Applications Oversight
-
Provide strategic and operational oversight of enterprise platforms, including:
-
Travel & Expense solutions (e.g., Concur)
-
Enterprise Planning platforms (e.g., Anaplan)
-
Ensure platforms deliver:
-
Standardization across markets
-
High availability and performance
-
Strong user experience
-
Own vendor and partner relationships, including licensing, roadmap alignment, and service performance
-
Drive continuous improvement and platform modernization
6. Delivery Excellence, Governance & Operations
-
Establish strong portfolio, program, and project governance
-
Ensure adherence to ITIL‑based operational practices and service management
-
Partner with MGS delivery organizations and external vendors to ensure high‑quality execution
-
Track delivery performance, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
-
Promote continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and simplification
7. People, Partner & Stakeholder Leadership
-
Build, lead, and mentor diverse, global, cross‑functional teams
-
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
-
Manage strategic partners and system integrators, ensuring value‑based delivery
-
Engage senior stakeholders across business segments, functions, and regions
-
Communicate complex technology topics clearly to executive and non‑technical audiences
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Data Management, or related field
(Master’s degree preferred) -
Experience across enterprise IT, data, or digital transformation roles
-
Senior leadership roles managing enterprise‑scale platforms or capabilities
-
Strong experience in one or more of the following:

Master Data Management and Data Governance

Enterprise Automation (RPA, workflow, AI‑driven automation)

Enterprise AI platforms and governance
-
Proven ability to lead largescale, multi‑year transformation initiatives

Experience operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations
