Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Performance Analytics, and ServiceNow Reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow SAM Pro capabilities to help organizations manage software assets, ensure license compliance, optimize software spend, and deliver actionable insights through dashboards and analytics.
The role requires a hands-on ServiceNow developer with strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient IT Asset Management solutions.
What will your role look like?

Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro) solutions.

Configure and optimize IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes to improve software lifecycle management and operational efficiency.

Manage software entitlements, software models, reclamation rules, normalization, and license compliance within ServiceNow SAM Pro.

Develop and maintain Performance Analytics dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and reports to provide actionable business insights.

Build and customize ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business and executive stakeholders.

Configure workflows, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions to support SAM and ITAM processes.

Monitor software license usage and identify optimization opportunities to reduce software costs and improve compliance.

Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and governance across software and asset repositories.

Collaborate with Asset Managers, Software Vendors, Procurement teams, and Business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Support platform upgrades, enhancements, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub where required.

4–8 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on ServiceNow development expertise.

Proven implementation experience in ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro).

Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and software asset lifecycle management.

Hands-on experience developing Performance Analytics dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and executive reporting.

Experience creating ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Experience configuring software normalization, license reconciliation, reclamation, software models, and compliance reporting.

Knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, development best practices, and security standards.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
