Position Overview:
We are seeking a Client Servicing Manager to lead and manage client relationships, drive account growth, and oversee project delivery excellence. This role involves supervising the client servicing team, acting as a strategic partner to clients, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal departments to deliver high-quality events.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, skilled negotiator, and proactive problem-solver with strong leadership capabilities and in-depth knowledge of the events industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Lead as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring strategic alignment, relationship growth, and overall client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide the client servicing team, ensuring consistent performance, professional development, and client-first service delivery.
- Project Oversight: Oversee end-to-end event management, from brief to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Proposal Strategy & Review: Supervise proposal development, pricing strategies, and pitch presentations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with production, operations, creative, and finance teams to ensure flawless event execution.
- Account Growth: Identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts, driving renewals, upselling services, and expanding partnerships.
- Conflict & Issue Management: Resolve escalated client concerns promptly and effectively, safeguarding client relationships and company reputation.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on event industry trends, client market landscapes, and competitor activities to provide informed, strategic recommendations.
- Reporting & Feedback: Deliver periodic client account reviews, event reports, and performance feedback to management and clients.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Communication, or a related field.
- 5+ years of client servicing/account management experience, preferably in the events or MICE industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and client-centric attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
