Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Relationship Manager (RM) to manage and lead the Direct Sales Team (DST) in the assigned region. The RSM will be responsible for driving sales targets, developing and executing sales strategies, and leading a high-performing DST to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the DST in the assigned region to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Drive and monitor the performance of the DST to ensure growth in sales and market share within the region.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to enhance the sales pipeline and achieve the revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics and strategies effectively.
2. Team Management & Development:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the Direct Sales Team to ensure they are engaged and equipped to meet sales targets.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews to team members to help them achieve individual and team goals.
- Recruit and onboard new sales executives as needed to strengthen the DST team.
- Develop and conduct regular training sessions to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
3. Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor individual and team performance regularly through key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics.
- Track and analyze sales results and adjust strategies to optimize sales performance.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and present them to senior management.
- Ensure consistent follow-up with prospects, leads, and customers to increase conversion rates.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure the DST provides high-quality customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
- Regularly assess customer needs and align sales efforts to provide tailored solutions.
5. Territory Management:
- Oversee sales efforts in the assigned region, including market research, territory mapping, and route planning for the DST.
- Identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities to expand market penetration and ensure the team targets the right audience.
- Ensure that DST representatives are maximizing opportunities within their territories.
6. Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to the business head and senior leadership.
- Ensure all administrative tasks related to sales management, such as CRM updates, lead tracking, and documentation, are up to date and accurate.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of prospects, clients, and sales activities.
7. Compliance & Quality Control:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all sales transactions.
- Address any discrepancies, customer complaints, or compliance issues with immediate corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Graduation in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in sales management, with at least 1 years in managing a direct sales team (DST) in a similar vertical.
- Proven track record of driving sales, achieving targets, and leading a team in a competitive sales environment.
