Responsibilities

Lead the monthly review of ledgers and ensure timely and accurate closure of books of accounts
Perform detailed variance analysis and monitor expenses in collaboration with the Business Finance team
Review accounts receivable aging and drive timely follow-up for collections
Oversee property & equipment accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, reconciliation, and fixed asset tracking
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and financial regulations across various geographies
Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and management MIS reports
Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements for accounting and reporting efficiency
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders during audits and compliance reviews
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as required
Mentor and guide junior finance team members

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field; CA/CMA/CPA/MBA Finance preferred
8–12 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial reporting
Strong expertise in general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and financial reconciliations
Hands-on experience in variance analysis, expense monitoring, and accounts receivable management
Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and multi-geography compliance requirements
Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Good understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, and audit processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
