Role Overview
We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in embedded systems
development to design and develop firmware for Battery Management Systems (BMS) and
Energy Storage Systems (ESS).The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C, ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, communication protocols, and hardware-software integration. Experience in battery systems, inverter communication, and industrial or automotive embedded systems is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop bare-metal / RTOS-based firmware for BMS and ESS products.
- Develop and maintain drivers and communication stacks for SPI, CAN, UART, I2C,
- RS485, and RS232 interfaces. Integrate and optimize firmware with battery monitoring AFEs and system peripherals.
- Implement inverter communication protocols such as Pylon, Modbus RTU/TCP, and
- related ESS communication interfaces.
- Develop new features, reusable libraries, diagnostics, fault handling, and system monitoring functions.
- Debug, test, and validate firmware at module, system, and field levels.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and test cases.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and validation teams to implement product requirements.
- Support field troubleshooting, commissioning, and product improvements.
Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 3–4 years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C.
- Experience with bare-metal and/or RTOS-based firmware development.
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
- Strong understanding of SPI, CAN, UART, I2C, RS485, and RS232 protocols.
- Experience developing low-level drivers and embedded communication stacks.
- Knowledge of inverter communication and battery integration concepts.
- Strong debugging and hardware-software integration skills.
- Ability to read hardware schematics.
- Working knowledge of Git version control.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Li-Ion BMS development.
- Experience with NXP MC33771/MC33774 AFEs and NXP K1/K3 microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR concepts and modular firmware architecture.
- Experience with ESS products and inverter integration.
- Knowledge of Pylon, Modbus, CANopen, or similar protocols.
- Experience with ADCs, PWM, DMA, Timers, EEPROM, Flash, and Bootloaders.
- Exposure to automotive, renewable energy, or power electronics domains.
- Experience working in startup or product-development environments.
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related disciplines.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
