We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead multiple Agile teams and drive delivery excellence. The role combines Agile coaching, delivery governance, stakeholder management, Scrum of Scrums facilitation, process compliance and continuous improvement to ensure predictable and high-quality product delivery.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Scrum Master , you will:
Agile Delivery & Team Leadership
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement.
Coach teams on Agile, Scrum and Kanban practices.
Drive sprint predictability, team maturity and continuous improvement.
Remove impediments and support teams in achieving sprint and release goals.
Delivery & Programme Management
Drive release planning, quarterly planning, milestone tracking and delivery governance.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations across teams.
Monitor team capacity, velocity, delivery health and release readiness.
Lead Scrum of Scrums and coordinate cross-functional delivery activities.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Communication
Serve as the primary coordination point between Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Architecture, Security, Operations and Business teams.
Provide regular delivery, risk, dependency and release updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate alignment across teams and drive accountability for commitments.
Azure DevOps Governance & Reporting
Ensure backlog hygiene, story readiness, estimation quality and process compliance.
Maintain dashboards and delivery metrics including velocity, capacity, burn-down and planned vs. unplanned work.
Support leadership reporting and governance reviews.
Process & Quality Governance
Maintain process documentation, team working agreements, operating procedures and delivery artifacts.
Ensure adherence to Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD) and Agile standards.
Facilitate bug triage and quality review sessions.
Monitor RCA completion for critical and recurring defects and ensure corrective actions are tracked to closure.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve delivery quality.
Automation & AI-Driven Delivery Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate recurring Scrum Master tasks such as status reporting, dashboard updates and meeting summaries using AI and workflow tools.
Leverage AI copilots (e.g., Copilot for Azure DevOps/, ChatGPT/Claude-based assistants) to draft sprint reports, release notes and stakeholder communications.
Implement automated alerts and triggers for sprint health indicators such as velocity dips, scope creep, ageing items and blocked work items.
Use AI-based analytics to predict sprint risk, forecast release dates and flag capacity or dependency conflicts before they escalate.
Automate backlog hygiene checks (missing acceptance criteria, unestimated stories, stale items) using scripts or Azure DevOps/ automation rules.
Apply AI tools to summarize retrospectives, extract themes from team feedback and recommend targeted improvement actions.
Champion the adoption of AI-assisted testing, defect triage and RCA pattern analysis to speed up quality resolution.
Evaluate and pilot emerging Agile/AI tooling and drive change management for adoption across teams.
Work Mode: Hybrid - 3 days from office.
Shift Timing: 10am IST to 7pm IST.
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Scrum Master if your background includes:
Overall 6+ years of work experience.
3+ years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master.
Experience managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, Kanban and Agile delivery practices.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Agile reporting tools.
Proven experience in stakeholder management, dependency management and delivery governance.
CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master) certification — mandatory.
SAFe certification — preferred.
Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude) and Agile tool automation (Azure DevOps rules) — preferred.
