About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Integration Solution Architect to join our GMDIT team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the organization's existing system landscape and designing a comprehensive, scalable, and secure architecture for integrating Salesforce (Mfg. Cl, Rev Cl)with third-party and internal systems (e.g., ERP, SAP S4, SAP MDG, databases, marketing tools, etc.). In addition, you will ensure smooth and reliable data flow, optimal performance, and alignment with overall business objectives and technical best practices. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver integrations across Salesforce (Sales, Service, CPQ, Manufacturing Cloud), SAP S/4HANA, and SAP MDG.
- Build scalable, resilient integrations using SAP BTP/CI, as primary tooling.
- Define and maintain integration standards, SDLC processes, and governance processes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance optimization across all interfaces.
- Architect and enhance data flows using synchronous, asynchronous, batch, and event-driven patterns.
- Collaborate with Salesforce, SAP, and other relevant teams to ensure consistent, secure, and reusable integration designs.
- Remain current with all relevant technologies and best practices, contributing new ideas to the team where needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise integration development and solution architecture experience, with deep, hands-on expertise with SAP BTP/CI and similar tooling.
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG and S/4HANA integration concepts and master data flows, with proven experience integrating Salesforce with SAP.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, authentication patterns, and middleware routing/orchestration.
- Solid grasp of event-driven design (pub/sub), queues, and async processing, with ability to troubleshoot complex multi-system integration issues.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, experience with creating presentations for complex Salesforce related topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities (with both technical and non-technical audiences), including demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure capabilities, serverless patterns, and API management platforms, including familiarity with Salesforce Platform Events, CDC, or DPE.
- Exposure to data governance and enterprise integration monitoring tools, as well as relevant certifications (SAP CI/BTP, Azure, or Salesforce).
- Experience in Jira/Confluence related to Story status/management of overall work initiatives, as well as familiarity with core SAFE fundamentals, including Product Increment preparation and planning is a plus.
- Travel ~10%.

- Experience with Manufacturing, Medical Devices, Life Sciences industry is a strong positive.
- Experience working in an international multi-cultural environment considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
