The Senior Demand Operations Technology Administrator is a senior technical consultant embedded within Hyland's Demand Operations function. This role provides admin-level expertise across marketing automation and sales engagement platforms — with a primary focus on AI optimization, automation, Marketo, and working knowledge of 6sense, Qualified, cookie compliance, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce, and Salesloft.
This role goes beyond executing requests — it is about solving complex Demand Ops problems holistically, using strong technical judgment and a deep understanding of Hyland's internal processes to design scalable, governable, and maintainable solutions. - Serve as a senior administrator for Demand Ops marketing technologies, ensuring all solutions align with platform best practices and internal governance standards; design solutions that account for downstream impacts, reuse, and long-term supportability — not just immediate delivery.
- Partner with marketing and business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI and automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes; design, develop, implement, and optimize end-to-end automated workflows across marketing operations, analytics, and other business functions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex automation, data, and integration issues across Marketo, 6sense, Qualified, Salesforce, and Salesloft; build Salesforce and platform reports to surface trends, patterns, and diagnostics that support informed business decisions.
- Proactively identify areas of success, risk, and opportunity for improvement across existing implementations; make thoughtful, data-driven recommendations to improve scalability, reduce technical debt, and strengthen overall Demand Ops operations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, reviewing work and mentoring on solution design and systems thinking; operate as a trusted extension of the internal Demand Ops team, executing work through established intake and prioritization processes.
- Apply deep knowledge of Hyland's internal processes and strong technical judgment to solve complex Demand Ops challenges holistically — designing solutions with a sharp focus on lead and marketing data troubleshooting, integration integrity, and long-term operational resilience.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 6+ years of experience administering and supporting marketing technology platforms, marketing automation systems, or demand generation operations.
- Hands-on expertise with Marketo administration — including campaign execution, lead lifecycle management, workflows, and troubleshooting — combined with strong working experience with Salesforce and Salesloft for CRM and sales engagement support.
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving complex marketing data, lead flow, integration, and automation issues, with working knowledge of platforms including 6sense, Qualified, Google Tag Manager, and cookie compliance solutions.
- Experience building reports, dashboards, and data analyses to identify trends, diagnose issues, and support business decisions; strong understanding of automation concepts, system integrations, data governance, and operational best practices within a demand generation context.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to independently manage complex assignments, design scalable solutions, and provide technical mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.
- Proven ability to design solutions that account for downstream impacts, reuse, and long-term supportability — going beyond immediate delivery to build scalable, governable, and maintainable Demand Ops architectures that stand the test of time.
- Experience identifying and delivering AI and automation opportunities that drive measurable improvements in operational efficiency and business outcomes across marketing and revenue technology ecosystems.
- Demonstrated track record of proactively identifying areas of risk, success, and opportunity across existing implementations, with the ability to make thoughtful, well-reasoned recommendations to reduce technical debt and strengthen operational performance.
- Experience serving as a trusted technical advisor to marketing and business stakeholders, translating complex platform capabilities into actionable, business-aligned recommendations and solutions.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current on emerging marketing technologies, AI developments, and demand generation best practices — with a genuine commitment to knowledge sharing and elevating the capabilities of the broader Demand Ops team.
