Job Description
Position: Dispatch & Transport CoordinatorDepartment: Logistics / Supply ChainLocation: Peenya, Bangalore

Job Summary

The Dispatch & Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end dispatch process, including preparing Delivery Challans (DCs), coordinating transportation, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate dispatch records. The role requires close coordination with the Project, Stores, Procurement, Production, and Finance teams, as well as transport vendors, to ensure smooth and efficient material movement.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and issue Delivery Challans (DCs) accurately and in compliance with statutory requirements.
Coordinate the dispatch of materials as per project schedules and project requirements.
Arrange and coordinate transportation with logistics partners and transport vendors.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials to project sites.
Track shipments and proactively update internal stakeholders on delivery status.
Coordinate with the Stores team to ensure materials are packed, labeled, and ready for dispatch.
Verify dispatch quantities and documentation before shipment.
Maintain records of Delivery Challans, transport invoices, e-way bills, and proof of delivery (POD).
Coordinate with project teams regarding dispatch schedules and delivery updates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.
Perform any other logistics and dispatch-related responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related discipline.
Diploma or certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
3–6 years of relevant experience in Dispatch, Logistics, Transportation Coordination, or Supply Chain Operations.
Experience in preparing Delivery Challans (DCs), e-Way Bills, and dispatch documentation.
Experience coordinating with transport vendors and handling shipment scheduling.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Zoho, Tally, or similar software is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
