Job Summary

Developer / SQL DBA /Platform Admin

(Epicor-Focused)

Minimum:
3 – 5 years Epicor development & SQL

Advanced BAQs/BPMs/SSRS; Epicor specific SQL tuning

This role provides Epicor-focused development and SQL support, ensuring data integrity, performance, and reliable reporting without owning enterprise database infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

SQL Server DBA Skills (Epicor‑Focused)

SQL Server administration for Epicor databases
Backup, restore, and recovery management
Support for Epicor upgrades, patches, and environment refreshes
Troubleshooting blocking, deadlocks, and locking issues
Database performance tuning (queries, indexes, execution plans)
Monitoring database health, capacity, and growth
Coordinating database changes with release and change management

Does not own SQL Server Infrastructure, HA/DR architecture, or backup strategy design.

Epicor Development & Configuration Skills

Primary responsibility for BAQ, report, and database performance impacting Epicor users.

Break/fix support and minor enhancements
BAQ (Business Activity Query) development and optimization
Dashboard design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
BPM (Business Process Management) configuration and debugging
MES configuration and operational support
SSRS report development, modification, and support
Strong understanding of Epicor data structures and relationships

Operational & Collaboration Skills

Incident, problem, and change management support
Coordination with Epicor functional teams and technical admins
Documentation of configurations, queries, and reports
Support during month‑end, quarter‑end, and critical business cycles

Analytical & Professional Skills

Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting
Attention to detail and data integrity
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear communication with technical and functional stakeholders

Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Product Support Processes And Methodologies At L1, L2, And L3 Levels.
2. Familiarity With Ticketing Systems And Support Tools.
3. Basic Knowledge Of It Operations And Infrastructure.
4. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Effective Customer Interaction And Team Collaboration.
