Basic Information
Position Title – Delivery Lead

Position reports to – Assistant Director
Job Purpose
It will offer the opportunity to work with Private Equity teams of our clients across industries (technology, fintech, retail, financial services, transportation etc.) and assist them in devising their deal sourcing, deal assessment, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and valuation activities including company/industry analysis, financial modeling (DCF, LBO), relative valuation, company profiles, industry research, etc.
Key Responsibilities
l Financial spreading and valuation analysis: Creation and updation of detailed financial models including DCF, M&A, LBO Models, trading & transaction comps, valuation analysis via different techniques, through idea of company financial metrices, valuation of Real Estate projects.
l M&A and strategic analysis: Identification and analysis of potential targets through analysis of markets, products, services and financial synergies
l Peer group benchmarking & competition landscaping: Identifying players operating in relevant industry, mapping them by geographies, sector or other parameters, benchmarking shortlisted players on various KPIs
l Portfolio company monitoring: Periodic tracking of business and financial performance indicators of portfolio companies and benchmarking those with their peer group for timely identification of upside and / or downside triggers
l Commercial due diligence support: Commercial due diligence of potential investment through analysis of the market opportunity, target company’s business model, its competitive positioning, etc.
l Experienced in all types of secondary research (databases, statistics and ministry/ industry/ association websites), as well as general research (company websites, SEC Filings, research reports, news articles etc.) and primary research involving discussions with industry players/ stakeholders
Key Competencies:
l Experience of 5-8 years supporting strategy research and analysis, preferably across industries CFA, MBA from a top tier business school in Strategy, Finance, Operations or Economics Strong finance fundamentals and knowledge of financial analysis skills
l Experience working across databases such as Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Preqin etc.
l Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills. Adept at synthesizing information to generate insights
l Dedicated and motivated individuals demonstrated academic excellence with strong leadership, analytical, communication and teamwork skills
l Excellent written and verbal communication skills
l Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
l Superior problem-solving abilities and strong analytical thinking to seek the why, how and so-what of a problem statement and ability to think multiple/alternative solutions to a given problem
l Proven project management skills
l Excellent at using MS PowerPoint; command over MS Excel to process varied data sets in spreadsheets (Pivots, charting etc.) is highly desirable.
l 5-8 years of relevant experience in investment operations, credit analysis or middle-office roles within asset management or private markets.
l Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant or Master of Business Administration from a top-tier business school.
l Prior exposure to private debt asset class is must.
l Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications; familiarity with automation tools is a must
l Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
l Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
