We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with the Managing Director and Board of Directors in strengthening financial governance, driving operational excellence, and leading the organisation's financial transformation and IPO readiness.
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for leading the Company's entire finance function while building an IPO-ready financial organisation. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on finance leader capable of driving financial planning, governance, compliance, treasury, business performance, process automation, risk management, and stakeholder confidence.
The CFO will play a critical role in supporting sustainable growth, enhancing profitability, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring the Company meets all regulatory and governance standards expected of a publicly listed enterprise.
Core Mandate
Build and lead a high-performing finance organisation that delivers:

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Business Planning
- Develop and execute the Company's long-term financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, business planning, and financial modelling.
- Present strategic financial insights to the Managing Director and Board.
- Analyse profitability, pricing, margins, investments, and capital allocation.
- Improve working capital, inventory management, receivables, and cash flow.
- Support strategic expansion, acquisitions, partnerships, and investment decisions.
2. Financial Reporting & Governance
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
- Maintain accurate financial statements and statutory records.
- Establish robust accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Implement maker-checker controls, approval matrices, and audit trails.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and governance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and Ind AS requirements.
- Deliver high-quality Board MIS and management dashboards.
3. IPO Readiness & Capital Market Preparation
Lead the finance workstream for the proposed SME IPO, including:
- IPO readiness assessment
- Financial due diligence
- Financial restatements
- Data room preparation
- Internal Financial Controls (IFC)
- Corporate governance strengthening
- Coordination with Merchant Bankers
- Auditors
- Company Secretary
- Legal Advisors
- Registrar
- Stock Exchange
- Investor documentation and financial disclosures
- Support investor presentations and roadshows
4. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure complete compliance with:
- Companies Act
- MCA/ROC filings
- GST
- Income Tax
- TDS
- Customs
- FEMA
- Transfer Pricing (where applicable)
- Cost Audit
- Secretarial requirements in coordination with the Company Secretary
Develop and monitor an enterprise-wide compliance calendar with ownership and escalation mechanisms.
5. Treasury & Banking
- Manage banking relationships and funding arrangements.
- Optimise Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), Term Loans, Bank Guarantees, and Letters of Credit.
- Improve liquidity planning and cash forecasting.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure arising from import/export operations.
- Negotiate financing facilities and optimise borrowing costs.
- Manage debt restructuring and capital planning where required.
6. Business Process Excellence
Drive process excellence across:
- Order-to-Cash
- Procure-to-Pay
- Record-to-Report
- Inventory Management
- Payroll
- Expense Management
Lead ERP implementation, process automation, dashboard development, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Partner closely with Operations, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to improve business efficiency.
7. Audit & Risk Management
Lead:
- Statutory Audit
- Internal Audit
- Tax Audit
- Cost Audit
- IFC Reviews
Ensure timely closure of audit observations with zero repeat findings.
Develop enterprise risk management practices covering financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks.
8. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Treasury, Compliance, and Commercial Finance functions.
- Build a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor future finance leaders.
- Establish KPIs, succession planning, and performance management systems.
- Represent the finance function before the Board, Investors, Banks, Auditors, and Regulatory Authorities.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate should possess:
- 15–20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance, or Head of Finance role.
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing, Telecom, Technology, Distribution, Import–Export, or Industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, inventory valuation, costing, and supply chain finance.
- Proven experience improving financial controls and business processes.
- Strong exposure to ERP systems and digital finance transformation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High standards of ethics, governance, and professional integrity.
