We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer who can take ownership of website development, WordPress implementation, deployment, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
This is an execution-focused role. We need someone who can build, customize, deploy, troubleshoot, maintain, and take websites live on our server.
Key Responsibility
The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop, deploy, and manage client websites on The Growing Graph's server infrastructure.
A major part of the role will involve WordPress website development and deployment, along with working on custom websites and other web technologies.
You will work closely with the SEO, design, content, and project management teams to ensure websites are properly developed, configured, optimized, deployed, and maintained.
Roles & Responsibilities1. WordPress Development & Management
WordPress will be an important part of this role.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and customizing WordPress websites.
- Installing and configuring WordPress.
- Working with WordPress themes and page builders.
- Customizing existing themes and templates.
- Creating and editing website pages.
- Managing WordPress plugins and configurations.
- Installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting plugins.
- Managing WordPress databases.
- Fixing common WordPress errors and conflicts.
- Customizing basic HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript where required.
- Implementing forms, integrations, tracking codes, and other website functionality.
- Performing WordPress migrations between servers/hosting environments.
- Taking WordPress websites from staging to live production.
- Maintaining and updating existing client websites.
- Ensuring WordPress websites remain secure, functional, and updated.
Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, or similar WordPress tools will be an advantage.
2. Website Deployment
- Deploy websites on the company's server.
- Configure domains, subdomains, DNS, SSL, hosting, and related settings.
- Upload and configure website files and databases.
- Connect websites with the appropriate domains.
- Ensure websites are properly accessible after deployment.
- Troubleshoot deployment-related errors.
- Manage staging and production environments.
- Take websites from development/staging to live production.
3. Server Management
- Work with the company's hosting/server environment.
- Manage website directories, databases, permissions, and configurations.
- Monitor basic server performance and website uptime.
- Identify and resolve common server and hosting issues.
- Perform website backups and restoration when required.
- Maintain organized server structures for multiple client websites.
- Follow proper security practices while accessing and managing the server.
4. Full Stack Development
The candidate should have a working understanding of:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP
- MySQL
- APIs and basic integrations
- Git/GitHub
- WordPress
- Basic frontend and backend troubleshooting
Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Laravel, or similar technologies will be an advantage.
5. Website Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Fix website bugs and technical issues.
- Make frontend and backend changes when required.
- Update plugins, themes, libraries, and dependencies.
- Troubleshoot broken pages, forms, integrations, and database issues.
- Resolve WordPress plugin and theme conflicts.
- Maintain website functionality after deployment.
- Assist in improving website speed and technical performance.
- Identify and resolve hosting-related issues.
6. Domain, DNS & SSL Management
The candidate should be comfortable working with:
- Domain pointing
- DNS records
- A Records
- CNAME Records
- Nameservers
- SSL installation and renewal
- Subdomains
- Website redirects
- Basic hosting configurations
7. Website Migration
The candidate should be capable of handling website migrations, including:
- WordPress-to-WordPress migrations.
- Hosting-to-hosting migrations.
- Server-to-server website transfers.
- Database migration.
- Domain changes.
- SSL configuration after migration.
- Resolving broken links and configuration issues after migration.
- Testing the website after migration.
8. Client Website Deployment
For every website project, you will be responsible for ensuring that:
- The final website is received from the development/design team.
- The website is properly tested before deployment.
- The domain is correctly connected.
- SSL is configured.
- Forms and important functionality are working.
- Mobile and desktop versions are checked.
- Website errors are resolved before going live.
- Basic technical SEO requirements are implemented.
- The live website is handed over to the concerned internal team.
9. Coordination With Internal Teams
You will work closely with:
- SEO Team – for technical SEO requirements, indexing, redirects, sitemap, robots.txt, website speed, etc.
- Project Managers – for deployment timelines and project status.
- Design Team – for design implementation and technical feasibility.
- Content Team – for content implementation and website updates.
- Management – for server, infrastructure, and technical requirements.
Required SkillsEssential Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress.
- Ability to independently develop and deploy WordPress websites.
- Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Knowledge of Elementor or other major WordPress page builders.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of PHP.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL/database management.
- Understanding of hosting and server environments.
- Understanding of domains, DNS, SSL, and website deployment.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Ability to troubleshoot website and server issues.

Candidates must have practical experience working with WordPress and website deployment.
Freshers may be considered only if they have strong practical project experience and can demonstrate their ability to independently develop and deploy websites.
Experience working with multiple client websites, digital agencies, hosting environments, or server deployments will be an advantage.
