Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Zscaler L2 Support Engineer to handle day-to-day operations, configuration changes, and second-level troubleshooting of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) environments. The role focuses on resolving escalations from L1, maintaining security policies, and ensuring stable, secure connectivity across the enterprise\'s Zero Trust (SASE/SSE) environment. Key Responsibilities Incident & Escalation Management – Act as the second level of support, handling escalations from L1, troubleshooting user connectivity, performance, and policy issues across TLS, DNS, proxy, and application layers. Policy & Configuration Changes – Implement and update security policies including URL filtering, SSL/TLS inspection, threat protection, DLP, and CASB rules in ZIA as per approved change requests. ZPA Operations – Manage application segments, App Connector health, and access policies; support user-to-app connectivity issues. Monitoring & Health Checks – Monitor Zscaler dashboards, App Connector status, and cloud health; proactively identify and remediate issues before they impact users. Client Connector Support – Support Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) deployment, forwarding profiles, and user onboarding/offboarding. Integrations Support – Assist with identity provider (Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, SAML, SCIM) and SIEM/EDR integration issues under guidance from L3/architects. Change & Incident Documentation – Maintain runbooks, update knowledge-base articles, and log all changes/incidents in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow). Collaboration & Escalation – Work with network, security, and endpoint teams; escalate complex design/architecture issues to L3 engineers. Preferred / Desired Zscaler certifications: ZTCA (Zero Trust Cyber Associate) or ZDTA (Zscaler Digital Transformation Administrator). ZTNA
