Video Editor Intern (Paid Internship)

Location: Coimbatore (On-site)
Company: Nelgates Technologies Private Limited
Internship Duration: 4 Months
Stipend: Paid Internship (Discussed during interview)
Certificate: Internship Completion Certificate Provided

About the Internship

Nelgates Technologies Private Limited is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern who is passionate about storytelling through video. This internship offers hands-on experience working on real-time projects, social media content, promotional videos, and marketing campaigns while learning from experienced professionals.

If you are eager to build your portfolio and gain practical industry exposure, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Edit videos for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Create engaging reels, shorts, promotional videos, and advertisements.
Trim footage and assemble raw video into polished final content.
Add transitions, motion graphics, text, sound effects, and background music.
Perform basic color correction and audio enhancement.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to produce creative content.
Ensure videos meet brand guidelines and project deadlines.
Stay updated with the latest editing trends and social media content styles.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar video editing software.
Understanding of video formats, frame rates, and aspect ratios.
Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills.
Knowledge of motion graphics is an added advantage.
Good communication and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility

Recently completed a degree/diploma in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Media Studies, Film Editing, Graphic Design, or related fields.
Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with personal editing projects or social media editing experience are preferred.
