Job Title: Housekeeper
Department: Administration / Facility Management
Reporting To: Administration Manager / Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the office premises. The role includes regular cleaning of work areas, common areas, washrooms, and other designated spaces to ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant working environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning and Maintenance

Clean and maintain all office premises, including cabins, workstations, meeting rooms, corridors, reception areas, pantry, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces as required.
Ensure all areas are kept clean, neat, and presentable throughout the working day.
Empty dustbins and dispose of waste appropriately.

Washroom Cleaning and Hygiene

Clean and sanitize washrooms regularly.
Clean toilets, wash basins, mirrors, floors, doors, and other washroom fixtures.
Ensure adequate availability of soap, tissue paper, handwash, and other hygiene supplies.
Report any plumbing issues, leakages, damaged fixtures, or maintenance requirements immediately.

Pantry and Common Areas

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pantry and other common areas.
Clean tables, counters, sinks, and other designated areas.
Assist in maintaining general cleanliness during meetings and office events, when required.

General Responsibilities

Follow the cleaning schedule and instructions provided by the supervisor.
Use cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment safely and responsibly.
Maintain proper storage and handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report shortages of cleaning materials and other required supplies.
Report any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance issues observed on the premises.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of employees and company property.
Perform any other housekeeping-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping, office cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or facility maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials safely.
Physically capable of performing cleaning and housekeeping duties.
Honest, reliable, disciplined, and punctual.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Working Standards

The Housekeeper is expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene, discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
