About the Role
We are looking for a Programmer Analyst to join our engineering team. This is an entry-level role suited for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who have strong fundamentals in databases and web development, along with an active interest in modern AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, and IoT-AI integration. You'll work across the stack - from writing efficient SQL queries to building responsive UIs and experimenting with AI-driven features.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for application features and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-facing components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement full-stack features end to end.
- Contribute to AI-powered features, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and integrations with LLM APIs.
- Assist in building or maintaining data pipelines that connect IoT device data with AI/ML models.
- Debug, test, and document code following team best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve coding standards.
Required Skills (Must-Have)
Database / SQL
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL - including DDL (CREATE, ALTER, DROP), DQL (SELECT, joins, subqueries, aggregations), DML (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE), and basic DCL/TCL concepts.
- Understanding of normalization, indexing, and writing optimized queries.
- Experience with at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
Frontend Development
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of React (components, hooks, state management, API integration).
- Prior academic, internship, or personal projects demonstrating frontend/full-stack work are strongly preferred.
General
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory)
AI / LLM
- Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts and pipelines.
- Exposure to the broader LLM tech stack - prompt engineering, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Basic understanding of model fine-tuning/training concepts. Vector Databases
- Awareness of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma, Milvus) and how embeddings are stored/queried.
IoT
- Understanding of how IoT devices generate and transmit data, and how AI/ML models can be applied to IoT data streams (e.g., predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, edge AI).
Candidates don't need production experience in these areas - coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or self-study are all valid ways to demonstrate this knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0-2 years of professional or internship experience in software development.
