E-commerce Video EditorAbout the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated E-commerce Video Editor to join our team. The role involves creating engaging and conversion-focused video content for e-commerce brands and their products across platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

You will transform raw footage, product images, and creative assets into high-quality videos that effectively showcase product features, benefits, and value. You will work closely with our e-commerce, creative, content, and marketing teams to produce visually compelling content that captures customer attention and supports brand growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of e-commerce content, visual storytelling, pacing, and product presentation, along with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Edit and produce high-quality product videos, Amazon listing videos, promotional videos, advertisements, and social media content for e-commerce brands.
Transform raw product footage, images, and creative assets into engaging videos that clearly communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions.
Create videos optimized for Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other e-commerce platforms.
Collaborate with e-commerce, creative, marketing, and content teams to understand product requirements, target audiences, and campaign objectives.
Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, animations, transitions, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance product storytelling.
Create different video formats and variations based on platform requirements, campaigns, and advertising objectives.
Ensure all videos follow brand guidelines, platform policies, technical specifications, and e-commerce best practices.
Edit content with a strong focus on customer engagement, product clarity, visual appeal, and conversion.
Review and refine videos based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
Organize and manage project files, footage, assets, and final video deliverables efficiently.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Stay updated with e-commerce video trends, advertising formats, platform requirements, editing techniques, and emerging creative tools.
Explore and utilize AI-powered video editing and creative tools where appropriate to improve efficiency and content quality.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in e-commerce, digital marketing, advertising, or product content.
A strong portfolio showcasing product videos, advertisements, Amazon videos, social media content, or other e-commerce creatives.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Experience creating content for platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is an advantage.
Strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, codecs, and platform-specific requirements.
Good knowledge of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, typography, transitions, and sound design.
Strong creative sense with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to understand e-commerce products and turn their features and benefits into compelling visual stories.
Ability to create videos that are both visually appealing and aligned with marketing or conversion objectives.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and incorporate feedback effectively.
Willingness to learn new editing tools, creative techniques, and AI-powered solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Amazon product listings, A+ Content, Sponsored Ads, or e-commerce advertising.
Understanding of Amazon video requirements and advertising guidelines.
Experience creating short-form video content for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and paid social ads.
Basic understanding of e-commerce marketing metrics such as CTR, engagement, conversion rate, and ROAS.
Experience working with international brands or clients is a plus.
Familiarity with AI creative tools for video generation, animation, voiceovers, background removal, or workflow automation is an advantage.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is not just technically strong in video editing but also understands why a video works for an e-commerce customer. You should be able to take a product, identify its strongest selling points, and turn them into engaging visual content that helps customers understand the product and encourages them to take action.

Creativity + E-commerce Understanding + Storytelling + Attention to Detail are key to succeeding in this role.
