We are building a technology-driven supply chain that combines commerce, logistics, dark stores, data, and automation to deliver a seamless buying experience for retailers.
As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a QA Lead – Automation who can take ownership of our quality engineering function and build scalable, reliable, and efficient automation practices across our products.
As the QA Lead – Automation, you will be responsible for driving the overall QA strategy with a strong focus on automation, framework development, test coverage, and release quality.
You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to ensure that our applications, APIs, integrations, and critical business workflows are thoroughly tested and production-ready.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be expected to design automation frameworks, write and review automation scripts, improve QA processes, mentor team members, and establish quality standards across the engineering organization.

Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.

Develop automated test cases for critical business workflows and regression suites.

Identify manual test cases that can be effectively automated.

Improve automation coverage, execution speed, reliability, and maintainability.

Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Evaluate and introduce new automation tools and technologies where required.

Build and maintain API automation suites.

Test REST APIs, integrations, backend services, and data flows.

Validate API responses, business logic, error handling, authentication, and integrations.

Work closely with backend engineers to identify and resolve quality issues.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Work with engineering teams to establish automated quality gates.

Monitor automation failures and improve test stability.

Contribute to continuous testing practices across development and deployment cycles.

Define and implement the overall QA and automation strategy.

Own test planning, regression strategy, test coverage, and release quality.

Establish QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Define and track QA metrics and automation KPIs.

Mentor and guide QA engineers and help build a strong quality engineering culture.

Participate in hiring and evaluation of QA team members.

Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Engineering Leads to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

Identify critical user journeys and ensure adequate test coverage.

Own QA sign-off and provide risk-based recommendations for releases.

Investigate production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

Ensure critical workflows such as catalog, cart, checkout, orders, payments, inventory, pricing, and delivery-related flows are thoroughly tested.

6–10 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience in test automation.

Experience designing or building automation frameworks from scratch.

Strong experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.

Strong programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Strong understanding of API testing and automation.

Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent API testing tools.

Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.

Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, regression testing, and defect management.

Experience with Git/version control systems.

Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience in e-commerce, B2B commerce, quick-commerce, logistics, fintech, or marketplace products.

Experience testing high-volume transactional systems.

Experience with mobile application testing.

Knowledge of performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or similar.

Experience working with cloud environments.

Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
