POSITION SUMMARY
Manju Groups is looking for a creative, detail-oriented and user-focused UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, modern and visually engaging digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding user and business requirements, creating user flows and wireframes, developing high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes, and working closely with development and business teams to ensure successful implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand business requirements, user needs and project objectives.
- Create user journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
- Design modern and intuitive web and mobile application interfaces.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Conduct basic user research, gather feedback and identify usability issues.
- Translate user requirements and business objectives into practical design solutions.
- Ensure responsive designs across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Maintain consistency in typography, colours, layouts, components and visual hierarchy.
- Create and maintain reusable UI components and design systems.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, marketing teams and other stakeholders.
- Provide design specifications, assets and clear handoff documentation to developers.
- Review implemented designs and ensure the final product matches approved UI/UX specifications.
- Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions and product improvement discussions.
- Identify UX problems and recommend improvements based on user feedback and business requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, technologies and design best practices.
- Handle multiple projects and deliver designs within agreed timelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Mandatory:
- Strong proficiency in Figma.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles and design thinking.
- Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping and user flows.
- Strong understanding of responsive web and mobile design.
- Knowledge of typography, colour theory, layouts and visual hierarchy.
- Good understanding of usability and user-centred design.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to convert requirements into clean and intuitive designs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Understanding of design systems and reusable components.
- Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards.
- Experience with dashboards, websites, mobile applications or SaaS products.
- Basic knowledge of animations, micro-interactions or motion design.
- Experience working with developers and product teams.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline; OR
- Diploma / Certification in UI/UX Design with a strong portfolio.
EXPERIENCE
1–3 years of relevant UI/UX Design experience preferred.
Freshers with a strong portfolio, relevant certification and excellent knowledge of Figma may also be considered.
