About Kanishka Software

KSPL is a Mumbai-based enterprise SaaS and custom software development company. Our product suite includes EntryIQ (visitor management), Foodiisoft (cafeteria management), SpaceBee (workspace management), Our Attendance (face-recognition attendance), QuickRetail (retail POS), Qualus (audit and compliance), SyncAsset (asset management) and AIFlows (AI workflows).

Role summary

This role is majority outreach: sending and following up on LinkedIn messages, cold emails and WhatsApp touches to support KSPL's account-based marketing (ABM) programmes for Foodiisoft and SpaceBee, working directly with the Growth Marketing Manager. The rest of the time goes into logging every one of those touches accurately, in Bigin CRM and in tracking sheets, so nothing gets missed or duplicated. You will work from templates, scripts and target lists that are already defined. This is an execution role, not a strategy role: you are not setting messaging or targeting direction on your own.

Suggested time split: roughly 70% outreach and follow-up, 30% CRM and sheet logging. Adjust once you see how the week actually runs.

What you'll actually do

Send LinkedIn connection requests, InMail and cold email sequences from approved templates, personalising within what the script allows
Follow up on schedule: no dropped threads, no duplicate messages to the same contact
Support WhatsApp outreach campaigns run through Interakt: sending, tagging and reply routing
Log every message, reply and status change in Bigin CRM and the tracking sheet the same day it happens. This is the discipline that makes the outreach side work, not a separate task bolted on
Build and maintain prospect lists in Apollo.io, following our existing blocklist and de-duplication rules
Flag messages that aren't landing, or data problems, for review, not fix them unilaterally

What this internship does not include

(So you can tell if this is the right fit before applying)

Deciding outreach strategy, targeting or messaging from scratch
Managing ad spend or campaigns
Public-facing brand or content work

Must have

Comfortable writing outreach messages that don't read as generic: we'll test this with a short writing sample, not just ask about it
Meticulous with Excel/Google Sheets in day-to-day tracking: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, no silent errors. This matters as much as the writing, not less
Organised enough to run a follow-up cadence across dozens of contacts without losing track of who's owed a reply
Comfortable working inside a CRM (Bigin, HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce, any of these counts)
Clear, professional written English
Available [X days per week] for [X months], based in Mumbai

Nice to have

Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or a similar prospecting tool
Prior exposure to B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales cycles
Basic Google Apps Script or Sheets automation

How we'll screen candidates

A short written sample (rewrite one outreach template): tests the outreach skill, which is most of the job
A short Google Sheets task (data cleaning and de-duplication, with a follow-up-tracking scenario): tests the logging discipline, not general spreadsheet cleverness
