Hiring: Finance/Accounting

Location: Plot No – 540, Saheed Nagar, Near Saheed Sporting Club, BBSR-7, Odisha

Citicon Pvt. Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation.
Maintain general ledger and oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Monitor financial transactions and document business activity.
Assist in audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.
Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary disbursement.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally).
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications.
Experience in [industry-specific experience, if applicable].
Familiarity with tax laws and auditing processes.
Knowledge of GST & TDS filing
Good communication and time management skills
