Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Director – Program Management with a strong background in managing large, complex digital transformation programs within the Government/Public Sector ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with senior government stakeholders, consulting teams, technology partners, and cross-functional delivery teams to successfully execute mission-critical initiatives.
This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional stakeholder management skills, strong program governance capabilities, and the ability to drive execution across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership

Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Define program strategy, implementation roadmaps, governance frameworks, and execution plans.

Drive program delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, quality standards, and budgets.

Establish governance mechanisms to monitor program health, risks, and performance.
Stakeholder Management

Build and manage relationships with senior government officials, client leadership, implementation partners, and internal leadership teams.

Lead steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and governance forums.

Influence decision-making and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
-
Act as the primary escalation point for program-related issues.
Program Governance & Delivery Excellence

Establish PMO best practices, review mechanisms, and reporting structures.

Track program milestones, risks, dependencies, and key performance indicators.

Ensure timely delivery of all program objectives while proactively managing risks and issues.

Drive continuous improvement through structured governance and performance monitoring.
Digital Transformation & Consulting

Advise clients on digital transformation strategies, process improvements, and technology adoption.

Translate business and policy objectives into scalable technology-enabled solutions.

Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation.

Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
Vendor & Partner Management

Coordinate with implementation partners, technology vendors, and consulting teams.

Support procurement planning, vendor governance, and contract execution.

Monitor partner performance and ensure adherence to agreed deliverables.
Leadership
-
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across consulting, technology, product, and operations.

Foster collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance culture.

Support talent development and capability building within the program management function.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

MBA/PGDM from a reputed institution is preferred.

10–15 years of overall experience in Program Management, Digital Transformation, or Technology Consulting.

Minimum 6 years of experience leading large-scale Government/Public Sector programs.
