Job Description: Social Media Manager (1+ Year Experience)

About Events Chakra

Events Chakra is a dynamic event management and experiential marketing company specializing in creating memorable events, brand activations, corporate gatherings, and social experiences. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to strengthen our digital presence and engage our audience across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including posts, reels, stories, and videos.
Develop monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
Write compelling captions, hashtags, and social media copy.
Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and event teams to generate high-quality content.
Cover live events and create real-time social media updates.
Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and audience engagement.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics and prepare monthly reports.
Assist in planning and executing influencer collaborations and digital campaigns.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in social media management.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube platforms.
Basic knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the event management, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or InShot.
Understanding of paid social media campaigns and lead generation.
