Job Title: Script Writer – Weddings & Events

Industry: Swaaha EMC Pvt Ltd.
Location: Remote and Office (Both based on requirement)
Preferably: hindi

About Us

We are a premium wedding and event management company specializing in big fat Indian weddings, luxury destination weddings, large-scale celebrations, and high-end corporate events. Our work blends creativity, storytelling, and flawless execution, and we are now looking to collaborate with a talented Script Writer who can bring stories to life.

Role Overview

As a Freelance Script Writer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, emotional, and impactful scripts that elevate wedding and event experiences. Your scripts will play a key role in ceremonies, performances, films, presentations, and brand narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Write wedding ceremony scripts, including welcome notes, couple stories, vow frameworks, and family segments
Develop event flow scripts for emcees, anchors, and hosts
Create concept-based scripts for sangeet performances, themed events, and special segments
Write voice-over scripts for wedding films, teaser videos, and after-movies
Draft scripts for corporate events, including opening addresses, leadership speeches, award nights, and conferences
Collaborate closely with the creative, production, and client servicing teams to align scripts with the event vision
Adapt tone and language based on event style—traditional, modern, luxury, emotional, or high-energy

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in script writing, content writing, or storytelling
Strong command over English (knowledge of Hindi / Hinglish is a plus)
Ability to write emotion-driven narratives with cultural sensitivity
Understanding of Indian wedding traditions and ceremonies preferred
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple briefs
Prior experience in events, weddings, films, media, or advertising is an advantage

A writer who can balance emotion, elegance, and entertainment
Self-driven professional comfortable working independently as a freelancer

Compensation

Project-based / per-script basis
Fees will be discussed based on experience and scope of work
