About the Role
We are building an AI-powered reading and literacy platform used by students to improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking, and overall reading skills.
This is NOT a blog writing, copywriting, SEO, or digital marketing content role.
As a Senior Educational Content Writer, you will create the educational content that powers our platform, including children's books, reading passages, chapters, comprehension questions, vocabulary exercises, learning activities, and AI-generated illustrations.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and has extensive hands-on experience using Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI image generation tools to create high-quality educational content at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging and age-appropriate children's books for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
- Develop reading passages, fiction stories, non-fiction articles, biographies, informational texts, and educational chapters aligned with specific grade levels and reading abilities.
- Create comprehension questions including:
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Short Answer Questions
- Vocabulary Questions
- Fill in the Blanks
- True/False
- Sequencing
- Inference-Based Questions
- Critical Thinking Questions
- Design educational exercises that improve reading comprehension and learning outcomes.
- Ensure all content is aligned with assigned grade levels, vocabulary complexity, readability standards, and educational objectives.
- Create engaging storylines, characters, and educational scenarios suitable for young learners.
- Develop illustration prompts and generate AI-based images for books and learning activities.
- Review, edit, fact-check, and refine AI-generated content to ensure originality, quality, consistency, and educational accuracy.
- Build and maintain structured educational content libraries and datasets for our platform.
- Collaborate with product, curriculum, and engineering teams to continuously improve content quality and learning experience.
- Continuously explore new AI tools and workflows to improve productivity and content quality.

This is an AI-first content creation role.
The ideal candidate must be an expert user of AI tools and should already be using them extensively as part of their daily workflow.

- Refine and improve AI-generated content to make it natural, engaging, and age-appropriate.
- Identify and eliminate AI hallucinations, repetitive writing, and factual inaccuracies.
- Use AI to significantly improve productivity without compromising content quality.

- Creating illustration prompts using AI.
- Sharing the prompts and AI workflow used to produce the final content.
- Editing and improving AI-generated output to meet educational standards.
