We are seeking a highly motivated and growth-driven individual to join our Plum Business team as a Sales Development Executive (SDR / ABM). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the NBFC, BFSI, or Fintech space, who is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while building the future of how we win and grow enterprise relationships in India. You will work closely with, and be mentored by, the Director - Plum Business, accelerating your learning and career trajectory while making a real impact on revenue growth.
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation — Identify target accounts and run structured outbound campaigns to build a healthy sales pipeline.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Execution — Partner with Marketing to run personalized campaigns for high-value target accounts.
Lead Qualification & Discovery Calls — Engage and qualify leads against ICP/BANT criteria and set up meetings for Account Executives.
CRM, Pipeline & Reporting Management — Maintain accurate CRM records and track key SDR metrics to inform outreach strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Feedback — Share market feedback with Sales, Marketing, and Product to refine ICP, positioning, and campaigns.
Research and prospect target accounts and decision-makers across NBFC, BFSI, Fintech, and other priority B2B segments via calls, email, and LinkedIn.
Collaborate with Marketing to execute ABM campaigns, personalizing outreach and content for key accounts.
Run discovery calls to understand prospect needs, qualify leads, and schedule meetings/demos for the sales team.
Maintain accurate CRM records and track outreach volume, response rates, meetings booked, and pipeline conversion.
Report performance insights to the Director - Plum Business to continuously refine outreach and targeting strategy.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product, sharing on-ground feedback and staying current on industry trends.
2-3+ years of B2B sales, SDR, business development, or ABM experience, ideally selling to NBFC, BFSI, or Fintech buyers.
Proven track record of hitting outbound pipeline-generation targets; comfortable with high-volume outreach and resilient to rejection.
Strong consultative and discovery skills, with confident communication with senior stakeholders (CXOs, finance/credit heads, procurement).
Hands-on experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo), with a data-driven, organized approach.
Genuine curiosity about the NBFC/BFSI/Fintech landscape and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset eager to learn from mentors.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus, not mandatory).
