OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a technically proficient Finance EPM ARCS Senior Analyst to manage the technical configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of our ARCS environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EPM ARCS with experience in ARCS development projects, system administration, data integration, and technical support. The successful candidate will ensure that current requirements continue to be met and will be responsible for incremental development work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage, configure, and maintain Oracle EPM ARCS (Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching module), including formats, profiles, reconciliations, match types, data loads, user access, security settings, and mapping rules.
- Develop and maintain data integrations between ARCS and other financial systems, ensuring accurate and timely data flow.
- Develop and maintain ARCS reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into reconciliation status.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including data loads, data validations, and system backups, to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ARCS technical issues, providing hands-on support to end-users as needed.
- Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis for technical issues.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and end-users, assisting with complex technical configurations and customizations.
- Work closely with functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements, process automation, and optimization.
- Document technical configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides, maintaining a knowledge base for internal use.
- Stay updated with Oracle EPM ARCS updates and new features, making recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.
- Deliver training and support to end-users and project teams, creating documentation and promoting smooth adoption of ARCS functionalities.
Collaboration with stakeholders
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Support users within the EPM community and across the wider business, enabling efficient utilization of EPM functionalities.
- Collaborate actively with the Finance teams across the Group to identify and implement continuous process and system improvements, driving our business initiatives forward.
- Support system training programs and conduct training sessions for global business users.
- Play an active role in mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering excellence and expanding our knowledge base.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in deployment and support of Oracle EPM ARCS processes
- Proven experience with design, configuration, and administration of Oracle EPM Cloud ARCS solutions.
- Proven experience with both ARCS modules: Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching.
- Experience in EPM Data Management / Data Exchange.
- Experience with data integrations tools (ODI, OIC), SQL and relational databases.
- Experience in EPM Automate / EPM REST APIs.
- Experience on other EPM modules (EDM, FCCS, TRCS, ARCS, or Narrative Reporting) is a plus.
- Proactive and innovative approach, constantly looking for chances to enhance processes and supporting management in their implementation.
- Motivated to learn new technologies and expand your functional and technical expertise to other Oracle EPM Cloud products.
- Oracle EPM Cloud certification is a plus.
