Job Summary:
The Finance Controller will oversee and manage the complete finance and accounts team for a solar EPC company. This role includes controlling the company's financial cash flow, maintaining banking relationships, overseeing budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The Finance Controller will play a key role in strategic financial planning, analysis, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Reporting:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
Cash Flow Management:

Manage the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

Monitor cash balances and forecasts, and develop strategies to optimize cash flow.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation and review of budget proposals.

Monitor and analyze budget variances, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
Banking and Financial Relationships:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Negotiate terms and conditions for banking services, loans, and other financial products.
Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and company policies.

Oversee internal and external audits and implement recommendations for improvements.

Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
Strategic Planning:

Participate in strategic planning processes and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
Operational Efficiency:

Implement and maintain financial systems and software to improve operational efficiency.

Drive process improvements to streamline financial operations and reporting.
Skill set required :

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting

Experience in the renewable energy or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.

Budget Accuracy and Variance:
Objective: Enhance the accuracy of budgeting and financial forecasting.
