Full job description

We are looking for a passionate and creative Fine Art Faculty who can teach both traditional fine arts and digital painting using industry-standard software. The ideal candidate should have strong artistic fundamentals, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to guide students from basic sketching to advanced digital illustration concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Fine Art subjects including:
Freehand Sketching
Drawing & Shading
Perspective Drawing
Still Life & Object Drawing
Portrait & Figure Drawing
Anatomy & Character Sketching
Color Theory & Composition
Watercolor, Acrylic & Mixed Media Techniques
Train students in Digital Painting using software like:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Fresco
Procreate (preferred)
Krita (preferred)
Guide students in concept art, character design, environment painting, and digital illustration.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practical exercises.
Conduct portfolio development sessions for students pursuing careers in animation, gaming, illustration, and concept art.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Keep students updated with current industry trends and workflows.
Organize workshops, art competitions, and live demonstrations.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure timely completion of the syllabus.

Required Skills

Strong foundation in drawing, sketching, painting, and visual storytelling.
Excellent knowledge of perspective, anatomy, lighting, color theory, and composition.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for digital painting.
Knowledge of Adobe Fresco, Procreate, Krita, or similar digital painting software is an added advantage.
Ability to teach students from beginner to advanced levels.
Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Passion for art education and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Fine Arts (BFA/MFA) or equivalent.
Diploma or certification in Digital Art/Illustration is an added advantage.
2–5 years of teaching or industry experience in Fine Arts, Illustration, or Concept Art preferred.
Strong portfolio showcasing traditional artwork and digital painting projects.

Preferred Experience

Experience teaching Fine Arts or Digital Painting in an institute or college.
Experience in portfolio preparation for Animation, Gaming, Illustration, or Design students.
Knowledge of concept art workflows for games, films, or animation.
