Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our International Tax team, specializing in transfer pricing (TP). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in global transfer pricing matters and a strong analytical foundation. Must be able to manage complex cross-border transactions. A key focus is to strengthen the group’s overall compliance posture. The role drives proactive, robust transfer pricing documentation that anticipates regulatory requirements and mitigates risk ahead of audits. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse engagements, contribute to compliance and advisory work, and support the organization through audits and regulatory interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct benchmarking analysis related to TP using relevant databases and methodologies to determine arm’s length pricing.
Perform qualitative analysis to support transfer pricing positions and documentation. Draft comprehensive transfer pricing studies and documentation in line with applicable regulations and international standards.
Support with Functions, Assets, and Risks (FAR) analyses to characterize entities and evaluate intercompany arrangements. Gather and analyze data on intercompany transactions to understand complex cross-border transaction flows and support documentation.
Support the implementation of international TP policies and monitor and review them against outcomes.
Respond to and manage tax audit queries relating to transfer pricing, preparing supporting documentation and submissions.
Collaborate with internal partners including finance, tax, and business teams and also with external advisors.
Develop and drive improvements in execution initiatives across transfer pricing operations and compliance processes.
Qualifications & Skills
CA, MBA, or a Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Economics.
6–8 years of relevant experience in international transfer pricing. Ideally, this includes both Big 4 and in-house roles. Experience within the IT or software industry is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of TP principles, methodologies, and global regulatory frameworks and their practical application. Proactive and continuous-learning approach to stay current with evolving global TP regulations and BEPS developments.
Proficiency in benchmarking databases and TP documentation tools, including hands-on experience running Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE for transfer pricing benchmarking and documentation.
Ability to conduct industry overviews and qualitative research to support benchmarking and economic analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail when handling large volumes of data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with internal collaborators as well as external advisors.
Ability to apply and leverage AI tools to accelerate research, benchmarking, qualitative analysis, drafting and review of TP documentation and drive automation and efficiency.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and within a group.
