Job Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time role based in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in backend development and a good understanding of modern web technologies. If you enjoy building scalable applications and solving technical challenges, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing features.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel (Mandatory).
1+ years of experience in PHP/Laravel development.
Good knowledge of MySQL and database design.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Bootstrap or similar frontend frameworks.
Basic understanding of Linux server environments.
Knowledge of Composer and Laravel best practices.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
1+ years of relevant industry experience.
