As a Trade Lifecycle Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in cash movements, funding, and coordination with other business lines will ensure seamless trade processing on our platforms. You will leverage your broad knowledge of trade lifecycle principles and practices to propose and implement improvements to our current working methods. Your role will involve diverse activities requiring analysis and judgement within defined boundaries, and you will often be responsible for guiding the work of others. Your proficiency in listening and questioning, internal stakeholder management, presentation skills, process improvement, and automation will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to develop your data and tech literacy skills while working with us.
Job responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to provide the supervisory support, in the day to day management of the business deliverables of the team, such as release of trade instructions, reopening and settlement of trades from the core settlement systems, inventory/position management and inter-company reconciliation prior to settlement date, among others.

Accountability for service quality of the team. Ensure operational procedures are followed and that tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Provide first level of supervision to the staff during business hours.

Support the process Vice President in their mission to provide top quality operations in support of this global business.

Ensure that procedures are documented and that the documentation is updated periodically.

Identify requirements for additional controls

Daily investigation and escalation of any issues

Provide daily/weekly statistics

Participate in global and local projects including new business, system enhancements and market rule changes.

Process re-engineering to enhance efficiency and controls
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
-
Generally minimum 7 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services/ Treasury environment or related function.
- Familiarity with products and services.

Experience in Trade Management & Settlements.

Strong communication, organization and leadership skills.
- Able to provide coaching and guidance on all aspects necessary processes.

Strong Control & Audit mindset and understanding of policies/regulations in the industry

Good relationship-building and time management skills

Flexibility to work on holidays / extended working hours on high volume days, if required.

Ability to work under dynamic environment and under pressure to meet deadlines and productivity/quality goals.

Good PC skills including Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access).

Good written & spoken English communication skills, exhibits effective communication with key stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Graduate or Post Graduate preferably 7-9 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services/ Treasury environment
