Job Title: Java Developer

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The candidate should possess strong backend development skills along with exposure to frontend technologies and DevOps practices.

Job Description /Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using React.
Develop server-side applications and APIs using Node.js where required.
Design, develop, and optimize Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
Support application deployment and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Prepare technical documentation and provide production support as needed.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

3–5 years of software development experience.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Node.js
- React
- Oracle Database/SQL

Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including source code management, build pipelines, and deployment processes.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and RESTful API development.
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Good knowledge of SQL query optimization and database design.
Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.
Knowledge of application security and performance optimization.
Exposure to cloud-based application development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Ensuring that research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standards
Assisting with formulating business plans and budgets for product development
Analyzing quality/safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
Keeping abreast of new developments in the industry and translating those developments into new and viable options for the organization and customers
Organizing technical presentations to customers and/or industry groups
Monitoring product development outcomes to ensure technical, functional, cost, and timing targets are met In some organizations, may be responsible for managing product regulatory approval process
