Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Civil & Architectural)

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Experience Required: 2+ Years

Industry: Civil & Architectural Consultancy

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Civil & Architectural team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, material estimation, and project costing for both residential and commercial projects. Very good knowledge of MS Excel formulas and application

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil and architectural ws.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
Estimate material quantities, costs, and labour requirements.
Analyse project quantities and prepare cost estimates.
Verify contractor bills and measurements.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure estimation accuracy.
Monitor project costs and assist in cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare rate analyses and support tendering and procurement activities.
Maintain updated records of quantities, estimates, and project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil and architectural projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity analysis, material estimation, and project costing.
Mandatory experience with residential and commercial projects.
Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation/quantity surveying software.
Good analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Capable of working independently while meeting project deadlines.
Experience in contractor billing and cost management will be an added advantage.
