Full job description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and management reports.
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet items.
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Prepare and file statutory reports, tax returns, and regulatory submissions.
Coordinate internal and external audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
Monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory accounting where applicable.
Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risks.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
Support ERP/accounting system implementation, upgrades, and process automation initiatives.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll accounting and employee expense reimbursements, where applicable.
Prepare management reports and financial presentations for senior leadership.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency
