Full job description

Role Overview We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and trustworthy Office Assistant to support the daily administrative and operational tasks of the society office. The ideal candidate will assist the Office Manager and Managing Committee by handling errands, maintaining the office space, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Office Maintenance: Open and close the society office daily. Ensure the office, committee room, and immediate surroundings are kept clean and organized.
Document Delivery: Distribute society circulars, maintenance bills, and notices to residents' flats.
Administrative Support: Assist the Office Manager with basic filing, photocopying, organizing registers, and managing stationery.
Banking & Errands: Deposit maintenance cheques, update passbooks at the local bank, and run outdoor errands to coordinate with local vendors or municipal offices.
Hospitality: Serve water, tea, and coffee to office staff, committee members, and vendors, especially during Managing Committee meetings.
Inventory: Monitor and restock supplies as directed by the administration.
Maintenance: Work with the Office Manager to resolve tickets and other operation requirement.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum 10th or 12th standard pass is preferred.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of prior experience as an office boy, peon, or facility attendant (experience in a housing society is an advantage). Fresher can also apply.
Language Skills: Basic reading and speaking skills in Hindi, Marathi, and English to understand documents and communicate with residents.
Attributes: Punctual, honest, well-groomed, and highly reliable with a polite demeanor.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Goregaon East area for quick outdoor errands.
Transportation: Added advantage for the candidate with 2W license.

Work Hours & Compensation

Working Days: 6 days a week (as per society guidelines)
Office Hours: 10 AM to 7 PM IST
Salary: Rs. 8,000/- to 18,000/- in hand.
