Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural projects from concept development through execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong design capabilities, technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership qualities to successfully deliver high-quality projects while mentoring and guiding design teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Lead the architectural design process from conceptual planning to detailed design and construction documentation.
- Develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically strong design solutions aligned with project goals and client expectations.
- Prepare and present design concepts, master plans, 3D visualizations, presentations, and design reports.
- Ensure design excellence while maintaining compliance with building regulations, zoning requirements, and industry standards.
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage multiple projects across architecture, interiors, urban design, and landscape design disciplines.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, design deliverables, and quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Conduct site visits, design reviews, and project evaluations as required.
Technical Documentation
- Oversee the preparation of construction drawings, working drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control of all design and construction documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and related software for design development and presentation.
Team Management & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and supervise architects, designers, and drafting professionals.
- Review design outputs, technical drawings, and project submissions prepared by team members.
- Encourage collaboration, innovation, and professional growth within the design team.
- Support the Principal Architect in managing project teams and design coordination activities.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead client presentations, design discussions, and project meetings.
- Build strong professional relationships while ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
Material & Design Research
- Research and recommend materials, finishes, products, and construction methodologies suitable for project requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging design trends, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Assist in preparing project specifications and material selections.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized and accredited institution.
Experience
- Minimum 2–10 years of professional experience in architecture and design.
- Experience working with architecture, interior design, urban design, or multidisciplinary design firms is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully handling projects from concept to completion.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, building systems, and detailing.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, statutory approvals, and site planning requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Lumion
- Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Revit/BIM workflows will be considered an added advantage.
