About the Role

WebSpero is launching a new service line: Product & Brand Strategy - helping clients go from "we want to build something" to a fully defined product with a clear brand story, before a single wireframe or line of code gets built.

We're looking for a senior hybrid strategist to own this offering end-to-end. You'll run discovery with client founders and stakeholders, define product scope and user flows with the help of technical manager, craft the brand narrative, and present it all back to the client in a way that makes them excited to move forward with us. You'll then hand off structured, build-ready briefs to our design and development teams.

This is a client-facing, high-visibility role. You won't just be doing the strategic thinking, you'll be the person in the room defending it to executives and closing the value of the engagement.

What You'll Do

Lead discovery engagements with new and prospective clients alongside the technical manager, stakeholder interviews, market and competitor research, defining target users and the core problem to solve
Turn ambiguous briefs ("we want an app or we want a platform") into defined product scope: use cases, feature priorities, user flows, information architecture
Own the brand narrative for new products - positioning, tone of voice, naming direction, the story of why this product matters
Produce wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes that our graphic design and development teams can build from directly
Run strategy workshops with clients, present findings and recommendations, and defend scope decisions in front of founders and senior stakeholders
Partner with our sales team to help scope and price product strategy engagements as a paid offering
Act as the bridge between a client's vision and what actually gets designed and built

What You Bring

5+ years of combined experience across product strategy, UX, and brand/creative strategy. We don't expect equal depth in all three, but you should be credible across the full range
A portfolio that shows how you think, not just what shipped, case studies where you defined the direction from a vague starting point, not just executed on someone else's brief
Real experience presenting to and persuading client executives. You're comfortable holding a room and defending your thinking under pushback
Confidence running workshops - discovery sessions, stakeholder alignment, prioritization exercises, in person or remote
Wireframing and prototyping fluency (Figma or equivalent) - you think and communicate in structure, not just visuals
Bonus: agency-side experience, and exposure to e-commerce/D2C brands
Education: Design/HCI, Business, Marketing/Communications, or a related field alongside equivalent experience.

Within your first few engagements, clients trust you with the ambiguous, undefined front end of their projects and our design and development teams get cleaner, better-scoped briefs because of the work you've done upfront.

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
